Our mission is to provide the highest quality of respectful, responsive care in a thoughtfully curated, non-toxic environment where infants are honored as capable, individual human beings. Rooted in the philosophies of Magda Gerber, Dr. Emmi Pikler, Dr. Maria Montessori, and Jean Piaget, we are committed to nurturing each child’s natural development through trust, connection, and meaningful communication.
We believe infancy deserves the utmost respect and dignity. Babies are not objects to be handled, but individuals whose cues, boundaries, and unique rhythms deserve to be recognized and honored. Through gentle, intentional caregiving, we practice consent, foster connection, and allow each child the freedom to explore, develop, and unfold in their own time.

We believe every baby deserves to be met with dignity, gentleness, and respect. Inspired by respectful caregiving and child-led philosophies, we approach each interaction as an opportunity for communication, connection, and consent. We honor each infant as a whole person, trusting their individual cues, rhythms, and readiness while providing a safe, non-toxic, thoughtfully curated environment in which they can thrive.
Meet Miss Beth
With over 20 years of experience working with young children, from infant care to administration, Beth has dedicated her career to understanding and nurturing the earliest stages of childhood development. Her deep passion for infants and their natural curiosity, exploration, and learning through play inspired her to found Tiny Topa Infant Atelier.
As a RIE® Certified educator, Beth believes infants are capable, competent individuals who thrive when they are respected, observed, and given the time and space to explore at their own pace. Drawing inspiration from the philosophies of Magda Gerber’s RIE approach and Maria Montessori, she is committed to creating a calm, thoughtfully prepared environment where infants can develop confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Tiny Topa Infant Atelier offers a nurturing space where both infants and their parents feel supported, connected, and empowered throughout the earliest years of life.
